I'm a mother of a beautiful two year old boy, and live with my loving and at most times hyperactive husband in Brissy Australia. I am a scrap-a-holic and this blog is dedicated to sharing my love of this hobby. Thanks for popping by.
Ants Sketch Challenge this month at SBT50 is this one
and this is my take on it using some really old paper, purple pumpkin bits and pieces, some of my buttons and some thickers. I was a bit daunted at the sketch at first, but I love the end result of it!!
The challenge over at 123 this month is the word "make", the colour Marigold and make your own anything. This is what I came up. It's the closest thing I could get to marigold. I used some Cosmo Cricket, and some thickers and I made my own flowers out of paper. I have used the word make in my journalling.
This month over at ScrapJack I chose Becs Layout to Jack. This is my take on the beautiful sketch using Echo Park Playground, some thread and some of my handmade buttons and one of my lollipops.
And this is what I did with it using Echo Park Playground, some of my buttons, and bits and pieces from Purple Pumpkin, Eye Candy Magic and Wicked Princess.
Wow - I can't believe I haven't posted all December. Life sure has been busy. Before I went on our weeks holiday, not much scrapping had been done, but I was busy with other crafty things which I will share soon. But while away at the coast for a week, I managed to get 14 layouts done or at least started with only date, journalling or bits and pieces left to finish that I didn't have with me!! 14!!! How cool is that. The first 2 are below, and as soon as I get the others finished I will post them.
I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and you all got some very nice presents. I certainly did!! and the best present of all was spending time with all my family.
and this is what I did with it using Kaisers Birdie range, and of course some Purple Pumpkin buttons, thread, heart and flower, with some thread and thickers. I turned it into an 8.5x11, but I think you can still see the sketch. In the photo it looks like there is a crease in the bottom of the page, but it must have been a trick with the light, becasue the page is fine!
This is the first sketch for the month over at Stuck
and this is my take on it using the Be Merry range from Kaiser, and some Purple Pumpkin twine, and some thickers and thread. I have some many old xmas photos, that I decided to scrap a heap so that I can then scrap some new xmas photos and not feel so far behind!
