Workshop Samples

I did manage to start a few challenges this month, but I have been spending most of my small amount of scrapping time creating samples for my SU workshops. If you would like to host a workshop and have some fun with friends and family whilst making one of these fun cards or scrapbook pages, please contact me at ronniedoll11@gmail.com .

MIA

Well, It's been a little while since I have posted, and I haven't got any layouts this month to show you. I have been very busy making samples and designing classes!! I have decided to jump into the world of Stampin Up!, and am throwing every minute I have into making it the best SU business in town!

I have always loved the SU products, and right now I have the time, resources and blessings from my husband to give it a go.

If you are on the north side of Brissy, and are interested in hosting a SU workshop, please give me a bell (ronniedoll11@gmail.com). I am also running scrapbook and card making classes at home (North Lakes), or you can even have a catalogue party and I can send you all the details in the mail.

123 September Challenge

It's been a while since I have done a 123 Challenge, but this month I couldn't resist.

Word: Man or Men
Colour: Grey
Technique: use something metal

And this is what I came up with using Amy Tangerine, Thickers, Adorn It letter stickers, paint, OA spray ink, washi tape, Purple Pumpkin button, ButtonsandBadges badge and a little metal teddy bear. I was uming and ahing over how to finish it when I recieved in the mail a rak for winning a challenge over at Soul Scrappers and it was a pack of Creative Memories die cuts, which finished off the layout just nicely - don't you love it when that happens!! Thanks Joy!

Scrap Therapy September sketch challenge

The sketch over at Scrap Therapy this month is:

and my take on it using Amy Tangerine, Cosmo Cricket letter stickers, Kaiser stamp, Washi tape, Purple Pumpkin buttons and heart, twine and SU ink.

Another UFO sighting!!

Yep, managed to finish another one. This one was for a colour challenge, but can't remember where from!! It is using some Basic Grey and some old paper that I can't remember what it is, and I finished it off with lots of things on my desk - washi tape and some lace and journalling spot I have just recieved in a rak.

September Scrap Jack

Aussie Scrap Jack has had a face lift this month and things have changed a little. Each month they have one designers layout to "jack". You can see this months here, and this is my take on it using Kaiser Rock Pool papers, die cuts and letter stickers, craft queen netting, Ranger spray mists, Fiskars cloud punch and SU ink.

September Sketch

And my take on it using Amy Tangerine, Jillibean Soup letters, Martha Stewart Punch, SU Ink and of course some Purple Pumpkin buttons and twine.

More UFOs, feeling like I have discovered Roswell.....

This one was for Shimelles starting point a while ago. This was actually the 3rd one I did for it at the time, but just never finished it. Using a lot of old MME on this one.

This one I actually started on our Xmas holidays at the end of last year! Just needed to finish it off with the date - how slack is that!! Using old Stampin Up papers and stickers with some Thickers.

I think this one was for Challenge Heaven that doesn't even exist anymore! I had finished this except for the date, but I was too late for the challenge at the time so it ended up in the UFO pile with only a date missing!! This is using fancy pants and some doilys and twine.

Scrap Friends Sketch Challenge #5

Scrap Friends sketch this month is:

And my take on it using Amy Tangerine, Thickers, Jillibean soup letters, AdornIt stickers, Washi Tape, ButtonsandBadges Badges, Martha Stewart punch, Ranger spray ink and SU Ink.

Soul Scrappers NSC14 challenge

The latest negative sketch challenge over at Soul Scrappers is this one -

and my take on it using - yep you guessed it Amy Tangerine (hey while I have it out and loving it I am going to keep using it!),  thickers and some Washi Tape.

Some UFOs done and dusted!!

Last weekend I looked in my UFO box, and was surprised to see so many layouts in there!! I decided to spend a little time and see if I could complete some, and I am happy to say that I completed 6, and almost finished a few more (just need some dates).

These first 2 are for a matching page (will be together in an album, but not a double layout). I did the first page for a challenge at Soul Scrappers, but I had gotten ink on the face of my niece, so I had to print that photo out again and fix it up. Plus I added a ButtonsandBadges Badge and some washi as I felt it needed a little something else.

The matching page I had done using the same Echo Park papers and embellishments, but I matched the washi tape to the first page and added a Dlish flower.

Mr Mischief was for a sketch challenge a long time ago that I never got finished in time to enter. I can't even remember what site it was for!!!

I had finished this page not long ago, but I had to complete my journaling. It was one of those pages that when I got the collection pack, it just screamed "only needs a photo" becasue of all the detail already on the page. All I added was the photo, title in the corner and the journalling, which I wish now was a little bit more scattered instead of on a hard line edge.

Rock a Bye Baby was also for a sketch challenge from a long time ago, and once again I can't remember the site!!

This one was for another challenge site that I can't remember - it was for a quote challenge, where you needed to use this quote. I think maybe I completed this one, but I missed reading one of the other criterias and thats why I never entered it. Not sure why this one was sitting in my UFO pile as it was actually already finished!!

September Scrap the Boys

The challenge this month over at STB is a starting point of this:

And what I did it using Amy Tangerine papers, stickers, leaves and thickers, JBS letters and Adorn It letters, Studio Calico greena dn brown spray ink, a ButtonsandBadges Button and some Washi Tape. I squished it to a 8.5x11, which loses quite a bit of the smear, but i thnk you can still tell its from the starting point.

KIU September Challenge

Well, I still can't believe it - I managed to get 16 Christmas layouts done and dusted last month, including 2 doubles. I feel like I have actually accomplished something!! On top of that I had some wins (Yah me!), one at Soul Scrappers, and one at Scrapjack. And I won a small RAK on the Stuck! birthday blog hop! (thanks Linda!). So it was a good month scrapping wise, unlike July where I was just pitiful!!!

So I have started well with September challenges, so heres hoping I can continue, although I doubt it as I will be busy packing as we have sold up and currently have no where to go!!

KIUs September Challenge is a colour one
SEPTEMBER COLOUR SWATCH

And my take on it using American Crafts Amy Tangerine (who I got to meet last week!!)paper, stamp and thickers, Dlish Scraps flowers, doily, washi tape and pins and a ButtonsandBadges Badge.

Soul Scrappers SC55 Challenge

The current sketch challenge over at Soul Scrappers is this one:

And my take on it using some Echo Park, Thickers and some little letter stickers that I can't for the life of me remember where they are from!!

And yes that is an ink mark on my little boys face in the middle. I was inking the page and I got it on the photo!! Don't you hate it when that happens!! I will have to fix it up when I get my next lot of photos printed!!!

Stuck! Bonus sketch #2

The fourth sketch over at Stuck! this month is this one:

And my take on it using Echo Park, Thickers, BG letters, Washi, ButtonsandBadges Badges and SU Ink and Kraft cardstock.

A couple of Xmas doubles

I managed to get a couple of double pages done from last Christmas. Its the only way to get soooo many photos onto a layout!! Sorry about the bad photos again, I really need to get that sorted out so you can see my layouts as they look in real life!!
