Scrap Jacked April

This is my jack this month over at Scrap Jacked. I chose Vickis layout this month. I loved the design and the colours. Once again I used the Good Morning Sunshine Collection from Stampin Up (I had the papers out, so just kept on using it!). I also used up some different letters and a bottlecap from Lil Red Rocket.

White With One April Challenge

This is my first time at White With One. As the name suggests, you have to use white with one other colour and one criteria. Aprils challenge is White + Olive Green + Twine. This is what I did using the Good Morning Sunshine Collection from Stampin Up. Plus I have used some Thickers and chipboard from my stash.

Stuck Sketchs 15th April

I have managed to get 3 more challenges done over the last couple of days. It's easier to have them in seperate posts for entry purposes, so here is the first one. This is for Stucks April 15th sketch which you can see here, and this is what I did with it using the Good Morning Sunshine collection from Stampin Up. And in using up my stash, I used some more of those crazy arrows that I found, and I also used some Bazzill Edges that I have had lying around for long time.

 

OOTH April Challenge

I finished another challenge. I am amazing myself with how many layouts I have been doing this month!! This one is for the April Out of the Hat Challenge. The criteria this month is

    1. handmade flowers

    2. 3 different stamps

    3. kindy glitz

I used the Bliss collection from Crate Paper, and some Kaiser Stamps, and created this layout.

This is a close up of my handmade flowers. I stamped a couple of different ones, and layered them up bending the petals both ways, and rolling some petals. I really like the way they turned out

Shock - Horror - 2 more layouts to share!!

Yes I know even with a teething baby, I have managed to get 2 more layout challenges done - AMAZING!.

Both layouts are for challenge sites that I haven't done before, so it''s very exciting! First up is for the STUCK sketches challenge site. They have a new sketch every fortnight. This is their April 1st sketch found here, and this is what I did with it. I used the Blast Off! Collection from Bo Bunny. Oh and using some old product, I used a chipboard arrow that has been lying around for years, and some old Heidi Swapp letters.

 

And my 2nd layout is for the Scrap That Baby challenge blog. This for Prompt 27: Ultrasounds. This is what I did. I used Crate Papers Neighborhood collection and bits and bobs from lil Red Rocket.

And for those who know me, I wanted to let you all know that I am now officially a Stay at Home Mum! Yep I took a payout from work, and now I get to stay home with my little man!! Well for the next few years at least!!! I am very happy about this as the time I get to spend with him is just so valuable!!

First up I did the Scrap the Boys challenge. I have never done one of their challenges before, but now that I have my 2 men in my life, I think I will be doing these more often!!! The challenge this month was to be inspired by his outfit. Well I love this little onesie that he has (that no longer fits him!!). He really is a little heart breaker!!! I used a photo of the onesie as part of the title. I used Basic Grey Oliver collection.

And my second layout to share is the sketch challenge over at Bo Bunny. You can find the sketch here and this is what I did with it using the Blast Off collection. I have decided to try the 8.5 x 11 size again. I think I am starting to like it. Will end up being cheaper to store these layouts!!!

Some photos

Just have some latest photos of my little man to share. I have been scrapping a layout for over a week now, and it is just one of those ones that seems to not work no matter what I do. Almost finished it, but it is looking so simple and not like I have spent hours on it. Anyway hope to have that to share soon. In the meantime for those who know the little dope, here he is....

Kraft It Up April Challenge

I decided to have a go at a new challenge site this week, and found Kraft It Up from the Chat with Charm forum. The criteria was

    1. 1 piece of kraft stock check

    2. 2 photos smaller than 6x4 check 2 5x3

    3. 3 different alphas check

    4. 4 different pattern papers check 4 from Bo Bunnys sunkissed range

    5. 5 different embellishments check flowers, button, chipboard, bottlecap and journaling spot
