Visit to santa

Well Grandma and I took Hayden to see Santa yesterday. It was my first venture out with Hayden to the shops, so it was only a short visit, but we managed to get him at a good time to see Santa. He didn't cry and was more amused than anything at this strange man!! He even wanted to take some of Santas beard home with him, but we managed to leave it with Santa!!

I have a little boy.....

Well it took a little over a week late to get him, but I have a perfect little boy.

No Baby yet...

Just a quick note to let everyone know that even tho yesterday was my due date, there is still no sign of baby wanting to come out. I have thought all along that it is a girl, but with this stubborness and not listening to me to get out, I now think it's a boy!!! No scrapping happening in the last couple of weeks as I can't sit at my desk for long enough to actually scrap!!!!

OOTH October Challenge

Well, I don't know how many challenges I will get done this month before I pop. Here is number 1. OOTHs October Challenge - 1 - Use scallops 2 - Use a handmade embellishment 3 - Include a book page I didn't exactly have a book page, but I had some pp that looked like a book page, so I used that to make my handmade flowers!!

And the SBC card challenge just for fun

SBC have a card challenge on their card blog using the same criteria as the layout below. I decided to have a go today just because. It's amazing what you can find time to do when you are home on maternity leave waiting for the baby to come!!

New SBC Challenge

This time SBC have set a colour challenge. Nice bright colours which i love!!!

And this is what I did with it using some Basic Grey Green at Heart, and some Prima flowers.

Some Layouts just for fun

I have been doing so many challenge layouts lately, and even tho I haven't been winning anything, I have really enjoyed the push to get my mojo working. I did do this one last week that was just for me tho. Isn't it funny when you pull out a pile of paper and embellies and things just fall straight into a beautiful layout? Well thats what happenend with this one using Basic Grey Lemonade range. This one I finished a few weeks ago and just never got around to taking a photo!! This one using some Sassafrass papers. I am usually not a huge fan of Sass, but this range took my eye!

More ST CC and a Kaiser Sketch

Well, the weekend went by and I managed to get 2 more layouts done even with my stupid cold. The first is the Theme Challenge from Scrap Therapy, the theme this month is Flower Power, and you had to use this pitcure for inspiration, and you had to have doodling and spots. And this is what I came up with...And the second layout I did was Sep Sketch #1 at Kaiser Craft. You can see the sketch here, and this is what I did with it...

Scrap Therapy September Cyber Crop

This weekend is Scrap Therapys Cyber Crop, and the rules have changed allowing 10 days to get the entries in!! Yah!! I have managed to get one done so far, this is the sketch challenge by Lisa Pate....

Scrapbook City Challenge

I got to have a go a Scrapbook Citys latest Challenge. The challenge was "bling". And I have used heaps of it on this layout. Pebbles Inc papers, Bella glitter lace cut paper, prima bling, kaiser bling, stickles and AC glitter thickers. Here is a closer look at the bling that you can't really see in the full picture.

Kaiser Craft and OOTH September Challenges

I got 2 more challenges finished this weekend. First one is for the Kaiser Craft September "Mix it Up"Newsletter challenge. The criteria is to use at least 60% KC, Dotted Paper, A heart, Something Red and Bling. This is what I came up with... And the next one is Septembers OOTH challenge. This months the criteria is 1) min 6 buttons, 2)Use a border strip and 3)Incorporate the title in the journaling. And this is what I did with it...

Not a sketch Challenge!!

Yes I have actually been doing some of my own layouts inbetween the many sketch challenges, although most of them are sitting waiting for something to finish. I think with challenges i have to get them finished by the due date, but with my own stuff I am procrastinating over the final touches!! This is one I did using papers from Stampin Up and some AC thickers.
