Scrap Friends Design Team Call

I decided it's time I threw my hat in ring for some design teams, and what a great start to apply for the DT at Scrap Friends. You can find all the details on how to enter here.

One of the things that you needed to do is create a new project demonstrating your latest style of work with this photo as inspiration:

This is what I came up with using some Crate Paper paper and letters, Thickers, Kaiser paint, Wicked Princess doily, MS punch and some homemade embellishments.

Soul Scrappers NSC8 Challenge

I am trying out a new challenge site for me this month, Soul Scrappers. The rules are a little different in that challenges are due every 3 weeks, but every week there are new challenges. This time I decided to have a go at a sketch challenge:

And the extra criteria was to use shapes. This is what I came up with using some Echo Park and some paint.

Another Challenge Heaven Challenge

I decided to do another challenge this month over at Challenge Heaven. This time the sketch challenge:

The extra criteria is gloss/glitz and this is what I came up with using some MME, Thickers, Wicked Princess flower, Purple Pumpkin twine and some of my buttons. (the letters are glittered).

March Kraft It Up Challenge

This months challenge at KIU is

1 Piece of Kraft Cardstock or Patterned Paper
2 Photos of any size
A 3 word title
4 different pieces of patterned paper and
5 different embellishments

I have used some Cosmo Cricket, some Wicked Pricess doileys, thickers and some flowers. My 5 embellies are chipboard, stickers, buttons, flowers and doiley.

March 123 Challenge

This months challenge at 123 is Metallic Blue + '123'+ use something organic. This is what I came up with using some Echo Park, Thickers, Chip Chop Shop doileys and some of my buttons and one of my lollipops.

Scrap Jacked March #2

The second layout I jacked this month at Scrap Jacked  is Mandys which you can see here. I used some Bo Bunny Sunkissed, thickers and EP letter stickers and twine.

Scrap Jacked March #1

The first layout I decided to jack this month at Scrap Jacked is Jeaneenes which you can see here. I love the design of this layout, so made a sketch and this is what I came up with:

I have used Echo Park, PP flower, some of my buttons and a bee and a butterfly that i recieved in a swap.

Annas March Challenge

The sketch over at Annas this month is this:

And this is what I did with using some Teresa Collins paper, Thickers, paint, twine, PP doiley and button, and some of my buttons.

Scrap Therapy A-Z 'H'

The first letter over at Scrap Therapy this month for the A-Z challenge is 'H', so of course this was a no brainer for me!! The extra criteria was to use brackets.

I have used some Echo Park, some of my buttons, chip chop shop doileys and some twine.

Was going tobe for March Scrap the Boys but.....

I didn't read the criteria properly!! I got as far as reading the title had to be 'Life is good' but failed to continue reading that you had to use red and have handwritten journalling!! Oh well, I love my layout anyway, and a finished layout is a finished layout!!

I have used some create paper, and some thickers and prima letter stickers.

Challenge Heaven March Challenges

I got a bunch of challenges finished over at Challenge Heaven this month
First up is Beccis Theme Challenge - Birthday Cake. Criteria was birthday cake and to use lots of paint. This is what I came up with:

I have used some Echo Park, Adorn it, Prima and Thicker letters, some twine and lots of paint.

Second challenge I did was Kerris Challenge. Criteria was to use yellow, a flower, book paper and to have birthday wishes.

This is what I did usings MME, Eye Candy Magic owl, myhandmade button, thread and I used a Winnie the Pooh golden book and punched circles and made rolled up swirls.

And last was Simones Patchwork Challenge. The challenge was to have min 6 photos and to have a patchwork (lots of squares the same size), well I didn't have any photos that were going to work for me, so I ended up with this, which I think still looks patchwork like.

I used some MME and lots of doodling.

I have used kraft cardstock, BG letter stickers, wicked princess doiley, crafters workshop template, stampin up ink, and of course some PP buttons and tickets. I also used some pages from a Golden Book, The Poky Little Puppy that he is reading in the photos ( a copy I bought at the Bookfest, not his copy!).



White With One March Challenge

When I read the criteria for this months challenge at WW1 I wasn't going to bother as it seemed too hard - White + Kraft + Layering

But in the end I decided to give it a go, and I love the end result.

I used some MME Life Stories paper, Thickers, Kaiser flowers, Charms Creations and some paper doileys and some old music sheets.

Scrap Therapy March Sketch Challenge

Finally I have some layouts to share - I have been busy creating, but finally finished some off with dates and taking a photo.
First up I have done this months sketch over at Scrap Therapy. This is what it looks like:

 

and the extra criteria was to use arrows and or zig zags. This is what I did with it using some Echo Park...

I have used some of my buttons and some BG letter stickers, and i stiched a zig zag border around my page.
