Soul Scrappers SC55 Challenge

The current sketch challenge over at Soul Scrappers is this one:

And my take on it using some Echo Park, Thickers and some little letter stickers that I can't for the life of me remember where they are from!!

 

And yes that is an ink mark on my little boys face in the middle. I was inking the page and I got it on the photo!! Don't you hate it when that happens!! I will have to fix it up when I get my next lot of photos printed!!!

A couple of Xmas doubles

I managed to get a couple of double pages done from last Christmas. Its the only way to get soooo many photos onto a layout!! Sorry about the bad photos again, I really need to get that sorted out so you can see my layouts as they look in real life!!

A Xmas layout just because...

I am on such a roll this month getting all my old xmas photos scrapped. I ran out of challenges to do, so I just did this one for fun. Still hoping to get a few more done before the end of the month, but we will see how that ends up as it always seems to get busy at the end of the month!!

I love this photo of my son with my niece. He loves her and couldn't wait to giver her a big hug when we arrived for our family xmas. I used Echo Park papers and stickers, Thickers, Washi, Buttonandbadges badge, Martha Stewart Punch and SU ink.

Purple Pumpkin August Challenge

I got a chance to play along at Purple Pumpkin this month, and they have a recipe challenge: Use paint, button, twine, fussy cutting, spray ink, flower, doiley, 2 different alphas. Here is what I came up with using Echo Park, Thickers, unknown flower, washi tape, Making Memories paint, Crafters Workshop template, October Afternoon Sparay Ink, Stampin Up Ink and of course Purple Pumpkin button, twine, doiley and heart.

Scrap Therapy August Sketch

I made sure I started the Scrap Therapy sketch early this month to get it finished in time!! Here is the sketch:

Soul Scrappers SC54 Sketch Challenge

Where in the world did July go? One minute it was the middle of July with plenty of time to finish challenges, and then it was August already?? argh!! I had a bunch of layouts half done for challenges, which I will finish soon (famous last words), but on the weekend I had a bunch of time so I started afresh on Augusts Challenges. I didn't get very far through my stack of Xmas photos for my Xmas in July challenge, so it has now been renamed Xmas in August. With any luck by the time xmas actually comes around I will be ready to scrap this years festivities!!

Firstly this is my entry for SC54 over at Soul Scrappers which is due today. Here is the sketch

And my take on it using some very old Basic Grey (yeah for using up my old stash!), 3 different Thickers and some badges from Buttonsandbadges.
