MME Blog Challenge 21

This is the current challenge over at MME:

And this is what I did with it using some "Little Man"and some ""Alphabet Soup".

OMG I won!! Crate Paper Feb Sketch

I can't believe it - I won the Feb sketch challenge on the Crate Paper blog!! I hadn't even got around to posting it on my blog yet!!! Here is the sketch,

And this is what i did with it. I made an 8x8 album and used the sketch for each page, rotating it and flipping it to make each page different, yet still have the same feel to the album. I used the Brook Collection from Crate Paper, with some Kaiser letters, Stampin Up cardstock and ink and my Bind it All.

Scrap Jacked

I found a new challenge site thanks to Lee-Anne at Scrap Therapy sponsering them. Scrap Jacked is a great challenge in that they have a talented team of ladies who share layouts and you get to scrap jack them!! I chose a great layout by Mel to jack. I loved how she used a double bracket paper behind her photo, and have used that in my layout with 2 journaling papers.

A layout - shock - horror!

Yes yes I know, it's amazing that not only have I finished a layout, I have actually taken a photo of it and uploaded it!! This is actually my third layout I have done since bub was born, but I still need to add the date to the other 2 and take a photo!! This one is for the challenge over at Out of the Hat this month. The 3 things were 1. Misting and Masking, 2 Clouds and 3 A tree.

And I took this photo just the other day and I just love it!! how cute is he with his smurf from the Pruski!!

I actually scrapbook a page of my beautiful boy.I finally finished it yesterday after about 30 sessions of 5 - 10 mins over the past month. And I got another page half finshed!! I haven't taken photos yet, but hope to do that soon and post them here!!

Sorry...

...that I haven't been able to post anything latley, but I am still getting used to being a Mum. Everyday seems to race by without getting much done other than looking after the little guy. I did manage to get 15 mins of scrap time on Tuesday, so things are starting to settle into place, I may even get a page finished in the near future!! This is a photo of me and my little man today. I hope to post some photos of xmas soon.

Visit to santa

Well Grandma and I took Hayden to see Santa yesterday. It was my first venture out with Hayden to the shops, so it was only a short visit, but we managed to get him at a good time to see Santa. He didn't cry and was more amused than anything at this strange man!! He even wanted to take some of Santas beard home with him, but we managed to leave it with Santa!!
