Beths 5th Birthday

Yes I haven't forgotten about the other little people in my life!! This is a double I have just finished of Beths 5th birthday in Jan. Used some older Bo Bunny on this one. Part of my goal to use up some old stash!!

What I won and some latest photos...

Last week I posted that my mini album won the sketch challenge at Crate Paper, well my prize arrived in the mail today - the whole collection pack of their new Neighbourhood range including the ribbon, buttons and brads!!! Boy am I excited!!! Thank you so much Crate Paper!!!

And for those who know my little man, here are some recent photos of him - almost 5 months old now!!!

A couple of layouts

I know - amazing!! Not only have I done a layout, but I have finally taken a photo of one I had done a while ago!!

First up is my take at this months challenge at Out of the Hat - the criteria this month was

          1. Use twine

          2. Use a number in your title

          3. Make your own journalling spots

I used some Crate Paper Season Collection with some AC thickers.

This next one is a layout I did the other month using the new Alphabet Soup range from MME.

OMG I won!! Crate Paper Feb Sketch

I can't believe it - I won the Feb sketch challenge on the Crate Paper blog!! I hadn't even got around to posting it on my blog yet!!! Here is the sketch,

And this is what i did with it. I made an 8x8 album and used the sketch for each page, rotating it and flipping it to make each page different, yet still have the same feel to the album. I used the Brook Collection from Crate Paper, with some Kaiser letters, Stampin Up cardstock and ink and my Bind it All.

Scrap Jacked

I found a new challenge site thanks to Lee-Anne at Scrap Therapy sponsering them. Scrap Jacked is a great challenge in that they have a talented team of ladies who share layouts and you get to scrap jack them!! I chose a great layout by Mel to jack. I loved how she used a double bracket paper behind her photo, and have used that in my layout with 2 journaling papers.

A layout - shock - horror!

Yes yes I know, it's amazing that not only have I finished a layout, I have actually taken a photo of it and uploaded it!! This is actually my third layout I have done since bub was born, but I still need to add the date to the other 2 and take a photo!! This one is for the challenge over at Out of the Hat this month. The 3 things were 1. Misting and Masking, 2 Clouds and 3 A tree.
