April Group 1 at Show Us Your Stuff

The first challenge this month at SUYS is to use this pitcure as inspiration:

I decided to use the crochet part from it but of course I have a little boy, so I used green and blue instead. And I loved the little flowers, so i used crochet flowers. I also used MME paper and die cuts, thickers, MLS stickers, Lil Red Rocket paper doilys and some of my handmade buttons.

March Group 2 at Show Us Your Stuff

The second challenge last month was to use this pitcure as inspiration:

And this is what I did with it using some Washi tape, Prima letters, MME paper, Paint, Crafters Workshop template, Eye Candy Magic doilys and some of my handcovered buttons. I made a strip of hundred and thousands from punching little tiny holes out of the MME paper and sticking it with double sided tape.

The second sketch this month at Stuck is a really nice one:

And this is my take on it using some Crate Paper and Echo Park letters.

Scrap Friends Design Team Call

I decided it's time I threw my hat in ring for some design teams, and what a great start to apply for the DT at Scrap Friends. You can find all the details on how to enter here.

One of the things that you needed to do is create a new project demonstrating your latest style of work with this photo as inspiration:

This is what I came up with using some Crate Paper paper and letters, Thickers, Kaiser paint, Wicked Princess doily, MS punch and some homemade embellishments.

Soul Scrappers NSC8 Challenge

I am trying out a new challenge site for me this month, Soul Scrappers. The rules are a little different in that challenges are due every 3 weeks, but every week there are new challenges. This time I decided to have a go at a sketch challenge:

And the extra criteria was to use shapes. This is what I came up with using some Echo Park and some paint.

Another Challenge Heaven Challenge

I decided to do another challenge this month over at Challenge Heaven. This time the sketch challenge:

The extra criteria is gloss/glitz and this is what I came up with using some MME, Thickers, Wicked Princess flower, Purple Pumpkin twine and some of my buttons. (the letters are glittered).
